I was just going through some photos that I made over the last week when I found this gem. A photo of my wife. You can call me superficial. You can call me mushy, but when I see this photo I am really happy that I married my beautiful Melissa.
Sinclair, the oil company, has been around since 1916. The gas station in this picture is in Elberta, Utah. I don’t know how old this little building is but I suspect that is has been there a while. When I first saw it a couple of years ago I instantly fell in love with it. [...]
I like this photo of Kailea so I figured I’d post it on my blog. What do I like about this photo? Well, to begin with, it’s my daughter. I like the way Kailea can watch a movie and be super concentrated. Not that I am a big fan of kids that watch a lot [...]
The other day I found a photo of myself, together with Kailea, on my camera. Melissa took it. I thought it would be fun to post a (recent) photo of me on the blog. Because, it is my blog afterall .
OK, today’s photo is not from 1984, as I said last week, but from 1988. I just barely checked to make sure. It was the easter break of 1988 to be exact. I did a “Michael Jackson” dance while my sister played the fake guitar. Later Linda did a lip-sync performance of a Madonna song. [...]
Ella likes books. We have a couple of little books that she really likes to look at. She especially likes to read books together with mommy or daddy. If I sit down, when Ella has a little book in her hands, she will walk over to me and sit down in my lap. This is [...]
The sun is already starting to shine outside but it is still pretty cold. But, luckily the spring is coming. I can see the birds fly around outside, carrying nesting materials. A couple more weeks and I will be able to go outside to take photos without getting ice cold fingers. Woohoo!
Kailea had a very nice birthday party where she invited lots of friends. We ate the barbie cake. We had a pinata, and of course there were presents.
I was planning on posting some photos from Kailea’s birhtday party, but then Melissa reminded me that it’s Flashback Friday today. So, I went and found a nice photo from last year. This photo is from May of 2009. Kids sure change a lot in one year. Oh, and before I forget. I think I’ll [...]
Melissa made a Barbie cake for Kailea’s birthday party, which she had last Saturday. I thought it was really pretty. Kind of a pity that it had to be eaten, but luckily it tasted good too. Banana flavor!
One of the things that I want to photograph this year is a full moon, just above the horizon, in a nice dark blue sky. Preferably with a tree or something else as a silhouette in the photo as well. That does take some planning though. Tonight might have been one of those night where [...]
