A couple of months ago I was asked to photograph Chantal and Bart’s wedding in Vught.

Vught is a city that has a lot to offer if you are getting married. First of all, location. Vught is easily accessible, just south of Den Bosch. Vught also has one of the best looking city halls in the country; it even has a special name: Leeuwenstein. A really nice city hall, inside and out. The wedding hall has great stained glass windows. The staircase leading up to the wedding hall is really something special.

In addition to the impressive city hall, Vught also has a very nice castle, Maurick castle. A very good location for the reception, dinner and party. Maurick castle has great gardens for a photo shoot. Of course, as we tend to see a lot in the Netherlands, the weather during the photo shoot was not very good. But, because of the great gardens around the castle, we were still able to have a great photo session.

Here’s a selection of my favorite photos of the day.
